Seymour Smith Park
Description
Seymour Smith Park has something for every age, with accessibility in mind for its design. While there are no swings, there are tons of slides, including dual slides for racing, a curvy open slide, and a bumpy slide. Other features include a fire pole, a rock climbing wall, stepping stones, chain climbing, a few types of monkey bars, as well as monkey ropes.
With the Splash Pad right next to you can easily watch kids that wanted to play on the equipment and at the Splash Pad at the same time. There is shade area on the playground equipment as well as a couple benches under the play equipment kids could sit and take a break! There is picnic tables that are sitting under a frame that looks like they have an awning that would be put on assuming more in summer months vs winter months!
The playground has accessible features. There’s a bridge that connects to all places that is wide enough for a wheelchair. Wheelchair bound individuals would be able to play the tic tac toe and other matching game.
