Oakbrook Park
Description
Oakbrook Park is a nice, hidden neighborhood park with a medium-sized playground. I think part of the appeal of it is how tall the equipment is. The playground is mostly sand, with two slides, a digger, and both baby and traditional swings. There are interesting climbing elements, including one that’s perfect for little climbers. There’s a cute four-wheeler bouncer, as well.
The park also has a small basketball court and a baseball field. There’s a walking trail along the creek. The park also has a pair of picnic tables and a couple of benches.

- Tall trees nearby will help with shade at certain hours of the day.
- Like most neighborhood playgrounds, this one does not have a restroom.
- It's street parking.
- There's a port-a-potty is available over at the baseball field (seasonally).
- This playground is a bit of a drive off of Blondo Street and any restaurant or gas stations for snacks. Head west on Blondo and you'll find Roast Coffee. A little further away, just north of 120th and Blondo, you'll find a Culver's.
