Myott Park

This playground is so fun, cute, and accessible! There is a toddler structure with a small slide, large ramp, and lots of activity boards. There is a large climbing rope structure, a music activity set, and a swing set. The swing set includes a saucer swing, regular swings, and (my favorite) a dual swing for a toddler and parent! There is also a fun and accessible merry-go-round that is ground level that was a big hit with my kid.

There are lots of low to the ground activity boards and areas that someone confined to a wheelchair could use. The entire park has ramp sidewalks, with no stairs from the parking lot to the playground. The small playground structure has a large ramp and walkways. The entire playground surface is rubber padding as well, which is easy for people with accessibility needs to navigate.

That’s the one downside to this park – no shade. Most of it is in direct sun. There is a small pavilion next to the playground, but there are no tables, benches, or seating under the pavilion.
