Morton Park

Morton Park is a great neighborhood park, having both a large playground and a sprayground. The playground equipment includes a three slides and bumpy slide to climb up, a cool rock climbing element separate from the main equipment, and a swing set with both baby and traditional swings. Scattered around the playground are a couple of bouncers and a teeter totter. 

There are a lot of picnic tables and benches. Near the playground, some picnic tables are shaded by a gazebo. There are a couple more picnic tables up the hill by the sprayground that are shaded, as well. While the park has a lot of green space, there aren’t many tall trees providing shade. The playground equipment provides some shade, at least.
