Goldenrod Park
Description
Goldenrod Park has two playgrounds near each other, though one definitely is a lot older than the other space. Neither play area is large. There’s a street separating the two areas but it’s closed off on one end so traffic is unlikely.
The most unique thing at this park is a tree house-type play area that kids can climb up into. There are look-out view-finders and a pole to slide down. It’s near the newer playground, which also has a climbing wall and swing set that includes an adaptive swing. The newer playground is covered with mulch.
The older area has a swing set, diggers and a worn down tunnel slide. It’s a sandy playground.
Overall, it’s a spread out park with small play areas with few pieces of equipment. There isn’t much for seating for adults watching kids, except a picnic table.
