Hummel Park
Description
The slides at Hummel Park aren’t part of a traditional playground. They’re fantastical-looking structures, unlike anything you’ll find in the city. There’s a treehouse-looking slide and a metal tube slide tucked into the hill. If you’re a nervous parent, the treehouse slide may make you nervous given its height.
Besides the slides, the park is known for its short, but fairly challenging hiking trails, disc golf course, and an epic summer camp.
I love visiting the park in the fall, when the leaves are changing. It’s beautiful!
