Hanscom Park
Description
Hascom Park’s playground has gotten an upgrade since I last visited! The playground equipment looks new and is really fun for a good age range. The main play equipment has climbing wall, a mini rock wall, and a spider web, so it’s a good place to go with a climber. There are three slides (racer slides and one swirly slide). There are tour traditional swings, two baby swings and a saucer swing. There’s a spinner/merry-go-round type thing that’s a pretty interesting feature I haven’t seen at other park. For younger kids, there’s a cute trolley to play inside, as well as a digger and a bouncer.
Hascom is a large park with a walking trail running through it. There’s a nice pond not too far from the playground with fountains. There’s a large dog park to the north, as well.
There are a lot of tall trees in the park, though they’re not necessarily providing a ton of shade for the playground. They do shade picnic tables scattered throughout the park. And, there’s a large pavilion with additional tables nearby.

Additional Info
- There's a large parking lot.
- There aren't any restaurants or spots for treats within walking distance, but I highly recommend the short drive to International Bakery, located a couple blocks north on Park Avenue.
