Deer Ridge Park

Deer Ridge has a nice playground tucked behind the neighborhood swimming pool. It’s a mix of sand and rubber flooring.

The equipment is well-maintained, and includes four slides that are good for racing. It’s a partially-accessible playground, with one high-back swing that’s easy to get to thanks to the rubber flooring under it. The playground also has traditional and baby swings, as well as a rare tire swing. I don’t come across too many tire swings in Omaha these days.

There’s a nearby tennis court. There are a scattering of picnic tables. The whole area is shared by trees. Sidewalks provide access to the rest of the neighborhood.
