Cody Park
Description
Cody Park is a small neighborhood park near an elementary school. The equipment consists of a swirly slide, a swing set with two baby swings and two traditional swings, and a spinner you can hang from. All of the equipment is well-maintained, though there was one thing that I couldn’t tell what it was meant for (do you spin? do you bounce?) and whether or not it was missing pieces.
It’s a park of mostly sand, though there is rubber ground cover between playground equipment. There isn’t much shade over the equipment and the park in general. There’s a good amount of green space, with a walking trail and two picnic tables.
It’s a good park for the neighborhood, but it’s not one I’d recommend seeking out just for fun.

- Like most neighborhood playgrounds, there are no restrooms.
- Parking is a little tricky since there are quite a few "No Parking" signs along the neighborhood streets. I parked at the elementary school since it was in the evening after school let out.
- Nearby spots for refreshments include Chippy's, Starbucks, Amigos and Taco Bell.
