Cochran Park

Cochran park has two large tunnels slides. It also has an open, slightly curved slide. It also has a smaller/shorter straight slide, and small/shorter tunnel slide. Cochran park has a set of swings that includes two traditional swings, one baby swing, and an accessible swing. The equipment looks new and is in good condition.

For climbers, there’s a climbing wall, rope ladder, and spider webs. There are activity boards and stepping pods, too. One unique feature of this park is the Council Bluffs Public Library kiosk where you can check out books. In the summer, the library sometimes hosts events at this park, so check out their calendar.

The park is complete rubber padding or pavement, which provides accessibility for navigating around the park. There is also an accessible swing.

There is a nice amount of shade here. There is shade under the gazebo, plus there is shade from the equipment. Cochran park also has several tall trees.
