Chapel Hill Park

Chapel Hill Park is an old-school playground with a lot of character. While the equipment could use some updates, it was still a lot of fun to explore and play on. The playground offers a great variety of equipment for all ages, including sand diggers, springy toys, and a couple of slides (a small twisty slide, small slides, and one large metal wavy slide). There are also monkey bars, a zip line, step stools, and many climbing features.

One of the best features of this park is the shade. The playground area is surrounded by large trees, making it comfortable even on warmer days. There is also a walking path that is partially paved and partially grave. For more shade, there’s a large pavilion with plenty of picnic tables underneath.

There is also a basketball court, although the hoops are located in the parking lot, so they can be difficult to use when the lot is busy. Right next to the park is the community pool, though a membership is required to use it. Overall, this is a fun and unique neighborhood park with lots to do.
