There are a lot of New Year’s Eve events in Omaha in 2025, including events for families and all ages. Of course, there are a ton of 21 and older events at bars, convert venues and casinos, too. If you’re looking for a special place to celebrate the New Year in Omaha, check out this list!

New Year’s Eve Fireworks In Omaha
The New Year’s Eve Fireworks Spectacular starts on Dec. 31 at 7 p.m. Tune in to STAR 104.5 to listen to the music the fireworks are choreographed to. Fireworks will be launched from 10th and Cass streets, near CHI Health Center & Charles Schwab Field. Best viewing areas will be around Heartland of America Park, though you’ll be able to see them even from the Old Market.
Tip: All Downtown Omaha parking meters will be free after 5 p.m. on Dec. 31, courtesy of Park Omaha.
Family New Year’s Eve Events

- Smash Park, 8121 S. 125th St., La Vista, Neb., is planning an all day celebration, with deals that include 50% off activities including pickleball, axe throwing, duckpin bowling, and the private karaoke suite. AfterGlow Pickleball starts at 6 p.m. Plus, the arcade is also 50% off that day.
- The Durham Museum, 801 S. 10th St., celebrates the New Year on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The popular day-time event includes live music from Dino O’Dell and the T-Rex All-Stars, special crafts and activities. Make your own party hat and then enjoy a celebratory bubble wrap stomp. The balloon drop is at noon in the Suzanne and Walter Scott Great Hall. Included with regular admission; advanced ticket purchase is highly encouraged due to limited capacity.
- KIPP Omaha’s Noon Year Celebration is Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 14445 W. Center Road, Suite 101. Festivities include a balloon drop at noon on the turf, a Golden Ticket Hunt from 10 to 11 a.m., kid-friendly bubbly toast, photo ops and dance party. Included with regular admission. Celebration kits are available for $6 (and free for members).
- Noon Year’s Eve is celebrated at Omaha’s Zoo on Dec. 31 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. featuring special activities for daytime visitors, including Ambassador Animals and biofacts for hands-on learning, a DJ, character meet-and-greets, and an early countdown to 2026. Include with admission.
- The annual Bubbly New Year’s Eve event at Omaha Children’s Museum, 500 S. 20th St., is all day long on Dec. 31 (well, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.). Enjoy the Amazing Bubble Show, crafts, characters, and bubble drops throughout the day. All activities included with admission, while supplies last.
- Pajama Party Prix Fixe Family Dinner is Dec. 31 from 4 to 7 p.m. at SET The Bar, 6121 Maple St., Suite 2. The dinner includes sparkling juice for the kiddos and an early NYE countdown.
- Big Grove Brewery, 4601 Catalyst Court, will have a Family-Friendly Celebration on Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. featuring a free buffet for kids at noon, balloon drop at 1 p.m., and entertainment for all ages.
- Spare Time, 17202 Lakeside Hills Plaza, offers New Year’s Celebration packages on Dec. 31 that include bowling & shoe rental for up to six guests; one cheese or pepperoni pizza & soft drink pitcher per lane; one $10 Game Zone Play Card for each guest; and music, lights, games, prizes and more. Cost is $139.99 with sessions from 3 to 5 p.m., 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and 8 to 10 p.m. Late night reservations also available.
- Noon Year’s Eve Party at Papillion Landing Swimming Pool and Party Rooms, 1046 W. Lincoln St., Papillion, Neb. is Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., featuring family swim, deck games, a craft and scavenger hunt. The countdown is at noon for the disco ball drop down the water slide.
- New Year’s Eve Drop-In Activities at Gretna Children’s Library, 119 N. McKenna Ave., Gretna, Neb., are Dec. 31 from 3 to 8 p.m. No library card or pre-registration needed. FREE
- Noon Year’s Eve at La Vista Community Center, 8116 Park View Blvd., La Vista, Neb., is Dec. 31 from 11 a.m. to noon. There will be crafts, games, music and a balloon countdown at noon. FREE
- Chirpy’s Play Cafe, 2063 Creek Side Drive, Suite 127, Papillion, Neb., will have its Noon Year’s Eve Celebration on Dec. 31 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. featuring the Snow Sisters, bubbly sparkling juice, and a balloon drop at noon. Tickets are $35.
- Skate City, 1220 Fort Crook Road S, Bellevue, Neb., will have two NYE celebrations on Dec. 31. Noon Year’s Eve is from noon to 3 p.m. featuring a balloon drop for ages 10 and under. Admission is $10; rental and jungle gym are extra. The Family New Year’s Eve Party is from 8:30 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. and includes a balloon drop and free horns. Admission to the night event is $20; rental and jungle gym are extra.
New Year’s Eve Events in Omaha for Adults (21+)
- Concerts on New Year’s Eve include Hairball at 9 p.m. at The Astro; Redferrin at 8 p.m. at Barnato; Fountains of Dane at 8 p.m. at Waiting Room Lounge; and Jones playing at B. Bar.
- Noir NYE is a four-course dinner at Fizzy’s Fountain & Liquors, 1408 S. 13th St. Doors open at 6 p.m. Dinner is $100 and includes choice of two martinis and live music from Matea Jerkovic Trio. Those with reservations at 9 and 9:30 p.m. get complimentary bubbly at midnight!
- Midwest Masquerade NYE is Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. at Reverb Lounge with EDM DJs. Dress code is masquerade. Tickets include midnight countdown with champagne toast and balloon drop. Tickets are $12 for general admission or $50 for VIP.
- Anna’s Place, 1804 Dodge St., will have a low-key celebration by reservation only on Dec. 31 from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets include four handcrafted cocktails, a midnight champagne toast, and live entertainment. Only 20 seats available. Tickets are $100.
- Sips On 10th, 1022 S. 10th St., celebrates New Year’s Eve starting at 9 p.m. with a DJ, Champagne specials, roaming Polaroids, best dress contest, and a full menu. Cost is $25 and includes a champagne toast at midnight; tables of four are $65.
- Candlelight Bar and Grill, 5031 Grover St., will celebrate the New Year with a party on Dec. 31 featuring live music by Joe Cockson from 5:30 to 8 p.m. and Red Delicious from 8 p.m. to midnight. Dinner options are Ribeye or Chicken Parm. If you’re not having dinner, there is a $5 cover. Tickets can be purchased at the bar.
- The New Year’s Eve Celebration at The Stuffed Olive Omaha, 1140 Capitol Ave., start at 5 p.m. at Dec. 31. There will be a free champaign toast at midnight. The kitchen will be open late.
- The Capitol District New Year’s Eve Party is held at three venues each with different vibes: Country glam at Beer Can Alley; vintage luxe at The Midnight Market; and bold (think animal print) at Annie’s Irish Pub. General admission tickets are $27 with VIP tables and booths also available.
- The Great Gatsby-themed party, Midnight at The Woolworth, is Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. (VIP entry is 5:30 p.m.) at the Woolworth Event Center, 1120 Howard St. (second floor). Tickets include one drink ticket, champagne at midnight, and live entertainment.
- New Year’s Eve Karaoke Party is Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. at Industrial Bar & Grill, 14901 Industrial Road.

- Dundee Dell, 5007 Underwood Ave., has a Jazzy New Year’s Eve planned. Ring in 2026 with the Jenkins/Kilgore Jazz Quintet on Dec. 31 from 7 p.m. to 1 a.m. Tickets are $50 and include light hors d’oeuvres and complementary bubbles at midnight.
- House of Loom Presents A NYE Celebration on Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. at Benson Theatre, 6054 Maple St. Tickets are $45 and include complimentary appetizers.
- Disco NYE Bash is Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. at The Bohemian, 1406 S. 13th St.
- Laka Lono Rum Club, 1204 Howard St., is allowing people to reserve tables in advance for the Somewhere Beyond The Sea New Year’s Eve event on Dec. 31. Prime Time Reservations are open between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m. for $100 per person and include one welcome cocktail, three single person menu cocktails, choice of hors d’oeuvres, and a personal champaign toast. - The Max’s New Year’s Eve Party is Dec. 31 from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at 1417 Jackson St., featuring five bars and two dance floors. There will be a surprise at midnight.
- New Year’s Eve Dinner & Party is Dec. 31 starting at 6 p.m. at Tangier Shrine, 2823 S. 84th St. Dinner is $20 and includes roast beef and chicken, mashed potatoes, and green beans. For dinner reservations, call (402) 392-0404. The party is free admission and starts at 8 p.m. with music by DJ Angie Baby.
- New Year’s Eve at NOMA is Dec. 31 at 8 p.m. featuring music by Chad Stoner, Big Wade, and Enjoli & Timeless at North Omaha Music and Arts, 2510 N. 24th St. Tickets start at $82 and include heavy hors d’oeuvres, carving station, and a complimentary champagne toast.
- New Year’s Eve festivities at Scriptown Brewing Co., 3922 Farnam St., start at 4 p.m. Music by Grover and Shabba of The Sound Foundation from 9 p.m. to midnight. No cover, and there’s a free champagne toast at midnight.
- New Year’s Eve Party at Bar 39, 3916 Farnam St., starts at 8 p.m. Cover is $20 and includes free pizza from 8 to 10 p.m. by Lighthouse and free glass of champagne. DJs play all night and there will be a balloon drop at midnight.
- New Year’s Eve Party at Whiskey Roadhouse inside Horseshoe Casino, 2701 23rd Ave., Council Bluffs, Iowa, is Dec. 31 starting at 9 p.m. and features live music by Whiskey Bizness. Admission is free.

- The Durham Museum, 801 S. 10th St., 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. (New Year’s Eve activities are 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.; advanced ticket purchases are recommended)
- Kiewit Luminarium, 345 Riverfront Drive, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Lauritzen Gardens, 100 Bancroft St., 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. as well as Bright Nights from 4:30 to 9 p.m. (timed tickets must be purchased in advance for Bright Nights)
- Omaha Children’s Museum, 500 S. 20th St., 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with Bubbly New Year’s Eve activities
