9 Super Fun Places To Play Putt Putt In Omaha
I have a love-hate relationship with putt putt golf. My kids love it, so I put up with it. The Omaha area has several miniature golf venues with creative courses – think pirates, dinosaurs and castles – so even if you’re an impatient player (like me), you’ll probably enjoy the view while you play. Read on for all the Omaha area putt putt golf places, including those in nearby towns of Elkhorn and Council Bluffs.

Indoor places to play miniature golf in Omaha
Here are all the indoor putt putt golf courses in Omaha and nearby cities. Note that some of these are just putt putt golf centers and others are within larger entertainment facilities. This list was also included in the post about 30+ fun things to do in the winter in Omaha.
The Fat Putter
Where: 111 N. 10th St., Omaha
Why it’s unique: The Fat Putter is the newest indoor putt putt center in Omaha, and the only one located in the downtown area. It has four different courses, each with unique themes, challenges and games to play within. It also has a full bar and a restaurant with a small menu.
Pay attention to the hours, though. It becomes a 21+ only place after 6 p.m.
Medieval Putt
Where: 20915 Cumberland Drive, Elkhorn, Neb.
Why it’s unique: This course has a medieval theme with dragons and castles. It has two 18-hole courses. Medieval Putt, owned by the same folks who run The Fat Putter, is challenging and contains obstacles like a zip line and foam pit.
Note: Medieval Putt is designed for adults, but it’s fun for all ages.
Pirate Putt
Where: 1718 Madison Ave., Council Bluffs, Iowa
Why it’s unique: If you love all-things-pirately, the two 18-hole courses at Pirate Putt are for you. Look for the pirate ship and the spring-loaded cannon to fire off your golf ball.
Prehistoric Putt
Where: 2500 S. 120th St., Omaha
Why it’s unique: One word: Dinosaurs. There are dozens dinosaurs at Prehistoric Putt, as well as a volcano and a foosball obstacle. You have four courses to choose from, each with their own unique attractions ranging from a slide to a zip line.
Prehistoric Putt also has a restaurant and bar inside, as well as arcade.
Vala’s Pumpkin Patch
Where: 12102 S. 180th St., Gretna, Neb.
Note: Open seasonally, even though it’s indoors.
Why it’s unique: This is the only putt putt course on this list located in a pumpkin patch – and it’s the biggest pumpkin patch around. Called “Graveyard Golf,” you’ll be putting around in a dark room with glow-in-the-dark obstacles.

Outdoor mini golf in Omaha
These places are going to be open seasonally. Because, who wants to putt in the snow, right? Call ahead to see if they’re open.
Boulder Creek Amusement Park
Where: 14208 S St., Omaha
Why it’s unique: Boulder Creek’s two 18-hole courses are called the Adventure Course and the Sport Course.
Papio Fun Park
Where: 210 E Lincoln St., Papillion, Neb.
Why it’s unique: The 18-hole course at Papio Fun Park is themed off of U.S. landmarks.
Putting Plus
Where: 9216 Maple St., Omaha
Why it’s unique: Putting Plus has the old-school putt putt nostalgia thing going for it. There are three 18-hole courses to choose from.
