Day passes are the indulgent answer to those who want a quick escape, not an overnight escape. Midwest hotels and resorts offer day passes to their spas and pools! Here’s a round up of some great options in Missouri, Illinois, and Michigan.
UPDATE: This post was published in January and was updated in May 2022 with the switch to annual memberships for the Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel Pool Club.

How to get hotel day pool passes
Most hotels and resorts I come across opt to offer their pool and spa day passes through ResortPass. The site makes it pretty easy to see what’s included with the pass as well as availability on the day you’d like to go.
Of course, there are some that sell through their own spa, like The Elms in Excelsior Springs, Mo. For these types of places, you’ll need to call the hotel to reserve a pass.

Does any hotel in Omaha offer a resort pass?
Well. One used to. The Kimpton Cottonwood Hotel has switched from offering a daily pass for the pool to offering an annual membership to their Pool Club.

The Kimpton stopped doing pool passes this year. The only option is an annual membership.
