Zoo Noon Year’s Eve

The zoo celebrates New Year’s Eve early on Dec. 31. Activities for daytime visitors include:

• DJ Dance Party – 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Desert Dome Plaza. There will be a countdown at 11:59 a.m.; noise makers provided.
• Photo Booth – 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside the Desert Dome Lobby (complimentary experience)
• Snowball Toss – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the Desert Dome Plaza. $5 per game
• Gingerbread Village – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside Durham TreeTops Restaurant. Create and decorate your own mini gingerbread house kit! While supplies last. $5 per mini gingerbread house kit
• Merry Magic Theater – 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. inside the Lozier Giant Screen Theater Lobby. The Merry Magic VR Sleigh Ride is $5 per ride and lasts about 3 to 5 minutes. Guests must be 2 years old or older to ride. 
• Holiday Grouch Meet-and-Greet and Crafts – 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in Mutual of Omaha’s Wild Kingdom Pavilion. Holiday Grouch is there from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and crafts available until 3 p.m. (complimentary experience)
• Ambassador Animals and Education Stations – 12:30 to 3 p.m.
