4-H & FFA Schedule

Westfair main events run July 23-27, while 4-H and FFA activities take place the week before. Arena events include Pro Pulling League Truck & Tractor Pull on July 25 at 6 p.m., Figure 8 Races on July 26 at 7 p.m., and the Demo Derby on July 27 at 6 p.m. Arena admission is $20 for adults, $5 for kids (ages 6-12) and free for kids ages 5 and under.

Carnival rides are open on Thursday from 6 p.m. to close, Friday from 5 p.m. to close, and Saturday & Sunday from 3 p.m. to close. Pony Rides are Friday from 5 to 7 p.m., Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m., and Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Free daily entertainment includes Royal Legacy Circus, Electrifying Magic of Jay Mattioli, and Impressionist Mike Walker.

  • July 20: Educational Presentations, Table Setting, Clothing Selection/Fashion Review, $20 Challenge, Photography, Food & Nutrition, Thrifty Meal Challenge 12:30 pm (Treynor Community Center)
  • July 21: Extemporaneous Speaking Contest 5:30 p.m. (Extension Office)
  • July 23: Static Exhibits 8:30 a.m., Honorary Fair Board Presentation 7 p.m. (Showring), Queen Coronation 7 p.m. (Showring)
  • July 24: Sheep Show 7:30 a.m. (Showring), Goat Show to follow (tentative 10 a.m.), Poultry Show 3 p.m., Working Exhibit Showcase 4:30 p.m. (Commercial Building), Educational Presentation/Speaking/Table Setting/Working Exhibit Award Presentation 5:30 p.m.(Commercial Building)
  • July 25: Swine Show 7:30 a.m. (Showring), Rabbit Show 8:30 a.m., Breeding Heifer/Cow-Calf/Feeder Calf Show 1:30 p.m.
  • July 26: Market Beef Show 7:30 a.m. (Showring), Dog Show 5:30 p.m. (Showring)
