Nelson Produce Farm’s Fifth Annual Watermelon Festival will be held over two weekends: Aug. 5-6 and Aug. 12-13. Activities will include Watermelon Eating Contest, Seed Spitting Contest, Hayrack Ride, Photo Contest and Face Painting. There will also be a watermelon buffet and the farm’s famous watermelon slushees.
Festival day passes are $20, or $15 if purchased online.
