Tremendous Topiaries

The summer exhibition, “Tremendous Topiaries,” is on display from May 26 through Sept. 1 at Lauritzen Gardens. From a flock of flamingos to a big bison, these topiaries are lifelike interpretations of animals that use live plants to mimic the colors and textures of feathers, fur, scales, and skin. See what’s involved in the care of topiary plants and learn how our horticulturists maintain their artistic shape.
