“The Wizard of Oz” (Youth Edition)

Chanticleer Community Theater presents “The Wizard of Oz” Sept. 17-27 at the Hoff Family Arts & Culture Center. Performances are Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Synopsis: “The Wizard of Oz: Youth Edition” is a 60-minute stage adaptation of the 1939 film, designed for young performers. It follows Dorothy Gale and her dog, Toto, as they are swept to Oz, befriend a Scarecrow, Tin Man, and Lion, and travel the Yellow Brick Road to the Emerald City, aiming to defeat the Wicked Witch and return home.
