Storybook Pumpkin Patch

Omaha Public Library branches will hold a Storybook Pumpkin Patch in October. Each family will receive one pumpkin to decorate as their favorite literary character. At the conclusion of the program, decorated pumpkins will be put on display at the library. All craft supplies will be included.

• Oct. 5 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Abrahams branch. Registration is not required for this program. Patrons are encouraged to pick up their pumpkins the week of Oct. 13-19.
• Oct. 18 at the Elkhorn branch (two sessions, 1 and 2:30 p.m.). Registration is required; call the Elkhorn Branch at (402) 289-4367 to register. Patrons are encouraged to pick up their pumpkins Oct. 28-31.
• Oct. 19 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Washington branch. First come first served.
• Oct. 26 from 2 to 3 p.m. at the Downtown branch. Registration is required; call (402) 444-4828 to register.
