Can you find Canes Venatici in the night sky? What about Virgo? Centaurus? Crux? Learn how to find these and other celestial bodies at Fontenelle Forest’s Spring Stargazing Event at Neale Woods. This warm evening event will feature a brief, moderate hike to start, then lead into learning constellations and stargazing. Program fee is $5 for Fontenelle Forest members and $15 for non-members. Members must log in to receive the discount.
This program will run from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. Please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather and bring a water bottle. Please bring a folding chair to sit on while stargazing and be ready to hike a short distance on easy to moderate terrain with your chair to our night sky viewing area.
