Silent Reading Party

Omaha Public Library holds Silent Reading Parties on the second Thursday of the month. In this nontraditional book club, there are no assigned readings – you just read what you bring. OPL’s Mobile Library, aka Poppy, will be there, as well. Read for an hour and then socialize…or not.

• Sept. 12 at Lewis And Clark Landing, 345 Riverfront Drive (outdoors; in case of bad weather, the Reading Party will move to the W. Clarke Swanson Branch)

• Nov. 14 at Joslyn Art Museum
