Ralston’s 64th Annual Independence Day Celebration is on July 3 and 4.

July 3
- 3-4 p.m. – Amateur Pie Baking Contest Granary Green 74th & Main (register here)
- 4-6:30 p.m. -Archives Open House, 5515 Woodlawn Ave.
- 5:30-7:30 p.m. – Picnic on the Green with food and beverage available for purchase
- 6-11 p.m. – Live Music at the Granary 74th & Main. From 6-7:30 p.m. it’s all ages featuring Swingtones & Nebraska Wind Symphony, and from 8-11 p.m. it’s 21+ with Lemon Fresh Day
- 7-11 p.m. – Family Street Dance in Downtown Ralston 77th & Main. From 7-9 p.m., DJ Shawn Farrell Balloon artists and airbrush tattoos; from 9-9:30 p.m., Omaha Circus Arts-Fire Dancers and Cyr Wheel show; and from 9:30-10:30 p.m., DJ Shawn Farrell
July 4
- 7:50/8 a.m. – Optimist Fun Run/Walk at 77th & Main
- 9:30 a.m. – Children’s Parade at 5505 Miller Ave. for kids in sixth grade & younger. PRIZES!
- 1 p.m. – Independence Day Parade starting at 80th & Highland-73rd & Main
- After Parade – Ralston Volunteer Fire Department Water Fight at 77th & Main and music, food trucks at the Granary at 74th & Main
- 2:30 p.m. – Foam Party and giant inflatable water slide at Granary at 74th & Main
- 9:30 p.m. – Fireworks from Liberty First Credit Union Arena, Food Trucks
