The Rose presents “R.L. Stine’s Goosebumps – The Musical: Phantom of the Auditorium” from Oct. 10-26. Performances are Fridays at 6:30 p.m., Saturdays at 11 a.m. and 2:30 p.m., and Sundays at 2 p.m.
Pre-show activities before each performance include:
- Pre-show Costume Parade: Begins 15 minutes before curtain.
- Mystery Touch & Feel: Stick your hand in and see if you can guess what’s lurking in our mystery bins.
- Temporary Tattoo Station: Show off your spooky side at the temporary tattoo station before or after the show.
- Monster Bookmark Craft: Craft a creepy-cute monster bookmark to take home.
- The Goosebumps Graveyard: Dare to explore the haunted second level – where graveyards, ghouls, and ghostly sights await around every corner.
- Spooky Scary Skeletons Photo Cutout: Strike a pose inside our skeleton face-in-hole photo op and show off your spookiest bones!
- Meet the Cast: Post-show fun continues with a chance to meet the cast and snag a spooky autograph!
- Fright Night Photo Booth: Grab a prop, strike a pose, and snap a spooky shot at our free photo booth.
Synopsis: The students of Woods Mill Middle School really love to put on a show. But Ms. Walker has chosen a spooky script—the one that her great grandmother tried to stage but was never performed because of mysterious mayhem plaguing rehearsals? And what about that never-used creepy trap door with an elevator to the dark tunnels below the stage—is it even safe? And what about the strange–and strangely evil–voices that echo in the theater, and the wickedly weird things that keep happening during every single rehearsal? Join the fright-filled fun—just in time for Halloween!—as the cast of “The Phantom of the Auditorium” tries to survive until Opening Night in this tale of musical mayhem from the mind of R.L. Stine.
