“Prairie as Pattern”
June 10 @ 10:00 am – 4:00 pm
“Prairie as Pattern” is a temporary exhibit highlighting beaded regalia from The Joslyn’s collection through May 2028 in the Joslyn Building, Gallery J8. Native American beadwork is a living expression of connection. In the wake of forced removal to reservations, artists grounded themselves in artistic knowledge that predates colonization, while also transforming new materials into bold reflections of identity and style.
Included in free general museum admission. Note: The museum stays open until 8 p.m. on Thursdays.
