Penn & Teller brings their 50th Anniversary Tour to the Orpheum Theater on Aug. 14. The legendary magic/comedy duo, known for reinventing just about any genre they’ve been a part of, is on tour now for their 50th year performing together. From humble beginnings as street buskers in Pennsylvania to Broadway, Las Vegas, and a plethora of TV series and other media deals, this duo has carved out their own niche in everything they do.
In honor of Omaha’s own magical legacy, this event supports the Omaha Magical Society and its work to preserve and promote the Abbott House — a tribute to pioneering magician David P. Abbott and his wife Fannie. Created in collaboration with Teller himself, the Abbott House celebrates their remarkable contributions to the world of illusion.
A portion of each ticket sold will benefit the Omaha Magical Society, helping to fund this one-of-a-kind exhibit dedicated to the roots of magic in America’s heartland.
