Omnium Circus presents “I’m Possible,” a sensory-inclusive permanence on April 3 at Steelhouse Omaha. Dazzling and entertaining, Omnium Circus is a first of its kind—a singularly inclusive, accessible circus that is multi-abled and representative, highlighting and celebrating that disability and diversity can shine through the joy and excitement of circus arts. Omnium means “of all and belonging to all” while presenting the best in family circus entertainment—inclusivity and accessibility to all at every performance.
Everyone is invited to enjoy a production specifically designed with sensory needs in mind. It interweaves ASL (deaf performance), audio description, open captioning, and sensory supports. Omaha Performing Arts will provide patrons with a sensory break area, sensory kits, and wobble seats available for check-out during the show.
Synopsis: “I’m Possible” is the story of young Johnny who has a dream to join the circus. He confronts a world full of challenges and through a death defying, awe inspiring, madcap circus adventure discovers the strength, courage and perseverance that changes his life forever. This show reimagines the art form of circus for 21st century audiences, bringing new kinds of excitement, thrills, and joy to people of all ages and all abilities.
