The Omaha Kite Festival 2023, sponsored by King of Kings Church, is at Concordia Jr.-Sr. High School on Sept. 23, featuring giant show kites, kids kite activities, food trucks, free paper kite making, and more.
Great American Kites specializes in producing the most astonishing and colorful outdoor giant kite displays and providing kite flying experiences and unique aerial events. The event features displays to provide lasting memories for attendees of all ages. Kites will be available to purchase and fly during the event.
In addition to the colorful kite displays, the event includes free face painting and balloon twisting for kids. Guests should bring lawn chairs or blankets for open lawn seating. Outside food and drink are permitted. Select food and snack vendors will be on-site during the event. No pets or alcohol permitted.
All events are weather permitting.
