Omaha Comedy Fest
September 27, 2025 All day
Omaha Comedy Fest features standup, improv, and sketch comedy from Sept. 25-28. In its 13th year, its led by nationally touring comedians Amy Miller and Adam Cayton-Holland at venues throughout Omaha’s Little Bohemia neighborhood. Venues will be Tiny House Bar, The Platypus, Lumen Beer Co., Fontenelle Supply, and The Bohemian Bar. Each will be converted into a fully-staged “pop-up” comedy club.
This year’s lineup will showcase more than 50 performers, handpicked from across the country, in a format designed to celebrate comedy as it’s best experienced: Up close and personal. Festival venues will each hold 100 guests or fewer — many far fewer — offering a club-style experience usually reserved for comedy hubs like New York, Chicago or LA.
Alongside the headlining acts, a full slate of stand-ups, improvisers and sketch performers, ranging from seasoned veterans to breakout newcomers, will perform throughout the weekend, including veteran improviser Suzi Barrett (Drunk History, After Midnight) and Deanna Ortiz (Chicago Reader “2023’s Best Standup Of the Year”).
Interactive installations and surprise activations will transform Little Bohemia into a comedy-filled destination for four straight days. The festival also features educational panels and workshops covering everything from finding your comedic voice and navigating the business side of comedy to podcasting and online content creation. These sessions, led by working professionals, offer hands-on guidance for aspiring comedians and behind-the-scenes insights for comedy fans, and are offered free or at accessible pricing in line with the festival’s mission.
