Midwest Lit Fest

October 2 @ 10:00 am – 8:00 pm

Midwest Lit Fest is Oct. 2 and 3 at various branches of the Omaha Public Library. This event celebrates reading, storytelling, and creativity, designed to inspire young minds to explore their own voices through art and writing. Children in grades K-8 are invited to interactive sessions with authors and illustrators. The goal is to help kids see themselves as creators, to look at the people behind the books and think, “I could do that!”

Participating authors and illustrators include:

  • Jerry Craft
  • Vashti Harrison
  • Claribel Ortega
  • Raul The Third
  • Chloe Burgett
  • Danielle Herzog
