The free community celebration of Omaha’s most iconic park, Memorial Park, Sunday, June 4. The event includes an interactive military equipment display from Fort Riley; First Responder display; Native American Cultural Experience drum performance; Vietnam Memorial Wall remembering fallen Nebraskans; WWII re-enactors and equipment; Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with guards; and the new “Embracing Peace” statue by Seward Johnson that’s on display until November 2023.
