The Medieval Faire Adventure is a fun afternoon of themed crafts and activities for the whole family inspired by knights, dragons, and fairy tale adventures. Registration is required to join the resident royalty for a tea party. All activities are free of charge.
Note: The library does not discriminate by gender. Young princes are encouraged to attend the tea party, young princesses are encouraged to try out their knight skills, and royals of all kinds are welcome! Costumes are encouraged.
Schedule:
- June 12 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Millard Branch (tea party is at 2 p.m.; registration opens up May 15; crafts available without registration from 2 to 4 p.m. while supplies last)
- June 26 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Saddlebrook Branch (tea party is at 1 p.m.; call 402-444-5780 or email [email protected] to register starting May 15; crafts available without registration from 2 to 3 p.m. while supplies last)
- June 28 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Downtown Branch (call 402-444-4828 or email [email protected] to register; registration opens May 15)
- July 20 from 1 to 4 p.m. at the Swanson Branch (tea party is at 2 p.m. for ages 4-12; registration is required – call 402-444-4852 or email [email protected]; all other crafts and activities will be available from 1-4pm without registration while supplies last)
- July 29 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Abrahams Branch (tea party is at 1 p.m.; call 402-444-6284 or email [email protected] to register. Registration opens June 15; all other crafts and activities will be available from 1-3 without registration while supplies last)
