Making Clouds

Have you ever wanted to touch a cloud? You can make this happen by making your own cloud from a cup of water! Participants will quickly cool down the trillions and trillions of molecules of water vapor above a cup of water with dry ice. The dry ice sinks in the water and transforms from the solid state to the vapor state, making lots of bubbles. These bubbles are filled with very, very cold gas and cool the water vapor above the warm water. The cooled water vapor will transform into trillions of tiny water droplets, and you will see the magic of cloud formation. Once the water droplets warm up and transform back to vapor, the cloud disappears. Touch your cloud and take photos while the cloud lasts!
