Is U.S. ‘Christian Nation?’ Event

Tri-Faith Initiative hosts “Is the United States a ‘Christian Nation?'” an evening of learning, discussions and activities about religion and the founding of the U.S. The United States of America’s founding comes with more religious baggage than most Americans realize, such as the 15th century Doctrine of Discovery (the basis for the 1823 U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Johnson v. McIntosh), the First Amendment and surprising quotations from our nation’s founders.
