Holiday Magic 2024 takes place on Dec. 1 at Independence Square in Ralston. The free holiday celebration includes a tree lighting ceremony, Santa, children’s activities, and more.
Schedule:
- 1 to 3 p.m. – Open House at Frank and Velma Johnson Archive Museum, 5615 Woodlawn Ave.
- 1 to 5 p.m. – Carroll Towne Village on display at Baright Public Library, 5555 S. 77th St
- 2:30 to4 p.m. – Children’s Activities at Baright Public Library, including face painting and balloon animals
- 3:15 to 4 p.m. – Santa Claus cruises on a fire truck throughout Ralston streets
- 4 p.m. – Santa arrives at Independence Square
- 4 p.m. – Holiday Magic Lighting Ceremony by Mayor Don Groesser
- 4 to 6 p.m. – Conversations with Santa
- 4 to 6 p.m. – Cookies, Hot Chocolate & Candy Canes
- 4 to 6 p.m. – Horse & carriage rides
- 5 to 7 p.m. – Chili feed at Ralston Fire Department & Rescue, 7629 Park Drive
