Heartwood Fall Festival
October 11 @ 12:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Heartwood Fall Festival is Oct. 10 & 11 at Heartwood Preserve. The park will be filled with pumpkins of all shapes and sizes. Families can select complimentary pumpkins to decorate on-site at Heartwood Park or take them home to carve. Other free activities include Bingo with prizes, putt putt golfing and miniature pony rides.
Team Nebraska Snow Sculpting champion Matt Seeley returns to carve giant pumpkins throughout the event and offer tips on carving pumpkins at home. Leading up to the event, Matt and world-renowned competitive sculptor Carlos Miguel Ramirez Pereyra from Mexico will transform large hay bales into a 10-foot-tall hay sculpture that will feature a scarecrow on a moon. It will be on display throughout the festival for photo opportunities.
