Gretna Days

Gretna Days is celebrated July 24-28 at various locations in Gretna. 

Highlights include:

• Carnival held daily (all-you-can-ride bands are $25). Hours are Thursday & Friday from 6 to 10 p.m., Saturday from noon to 10 p.m.
• Antique Tractor Pull, Friday from 4 to 11 p.m. at the field west of Village Square
• Dodge Ball Tournament, Friday from 4 to 6 p.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church 
• Free night at the movies and fireworks on Friday at Gretna High School, gates open at 7 p.m.
• Kiddie Parade from 8:30 to 9:45 a.m. and Grand Parade from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday 
• Craft show on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Gretna High School
• Dance and Beer Garden on Saturday night at the Village Square
• Car Show at McKenna Avenue from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Ice Cream Social from 1 to 3 p.m. at Gretna United Methodist Church on Sunday
• Rides and games in Peterson Park on Sunday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. (rides and games are 50 cents each)
