“Gooney Bird Greene and Her True Life Adventures” is on stage at The Wilson Jan. 23-25. it’s based on the critically-acclaimed, award-winning children’s book written by Lois Lowry that introduces young readers to the elements of storytelling through the exciting adventures of a unique and imaginative second-grader. Performances are Friday at 6:30 p.m., and Saturday & Sunday at 2:30 p.m.

Synopsis: Gooney Bird announces that she only tells “absolutely true” stories and, to the delight of her classmates, shares a series of outlandish tales from her life.
