Immigrant Legal Center + Refugee Empowerment Center celebrates its 10th anniversary with the Food Truck World Tour on Sept. 29 at 32nd & Sorensen Parkway. The event features food & drinks from a range of local food trucks & vendors, including Maria Bonita, Chaima’s African Cuisine, Pim’s Thai, Zaytuna, El Arepon, Lucy’s Ethiopian Coffee, Shahen, and Tipico Helado. Ticket holders also can create art with David Manzanares, walk through an exhibit by Samuel Bak Museum: The Learning Center, and explore make-and-take origami with teaching artist Linda Stephen.
Tickets are $85 for adults and $25 for kids, and helps provide funding the the agency’s legal representation, refugee services, and social work programs.
