Flavors of the Diaspora: A Black History Month Cooking Class

No More Empty Pots presents “Flavors of the Diaspora: A Black History Month Cooking Class” on Feb. 8. The interactive cooking class highlights the flavors, techniques and stories behind beloved dishes from various Black cultures around the world. Participants will learn to prepare dishes that have shaped Black history and cuisine, from southern food to Caribbean favorites and African-inspired meals. A chef will guide you through each recipe, sharing the cultural significance and history behind the ingredients and cooking methods.
