Joslyn Castle & Gardens has teamed up with community partners in conservation to present a free community events. All ages welcomed. Bring a blanket or chair.

2023 Schedule:

  • June 1 – Focus on Insects, presented by Austin Hill of Papio River Natural Resources District
  • June 8 –Nancy Crews of Milkweed Matters leads an interactive lesson about milkweed including making our own seedballs
  • June 15 – Join Shannon Kyler of Omaha Sprouts for a scavenger hunt and fairy house building activity
  • June 22 – Lauren Salick of Nebraska Wildlife Rehab teaches us all about “Owls of Nebraska”
  • June 29 – Interact with live animals in the Castle gardens. Our adventure will be led by Kip Smith of Wildlife Encounters.
