Papillion Area Historical Society’s event Fall For Papillion celebrates the past with hands-on experiences for all ages and tasks the original Papillion community would have done. Prairie life will go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. will include butter making, laundry, handkerchief dolls, weaving, and more. Portal Field Games will start at 1 p.m. and include a three-legged race, sack race, egg and spoon, wheelbarrow, shoe kick, the farm chore race, and a cake walk. During the day walk around the area for displays or other small activities like a Morse Code Scavenger Hunt.
Lunch will be available at the Depot Tent on the lawns starting at 11 a.m. Options include chili, biscuits and gravy, hot dogs, and chips.
