Celebrate America Spectacular

The Union Pacific Museum will have Celebrate America Spectacular, a free admission, family-friendly event from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be multicultural music and dance performances, including performances by Dowds Irish Dance at 11 a.m., the Wichita War Dancer at 12 p.m., and traditional Chinese instrumentalists at 1 p.m.; readings of the Declaration of Independence; hands-on crafts and activities; and a commemorative American flag pin giveaway for the first 100 attendees.
It’s a good time to visit the museum since they have an exhibition on the Louisiana Purchase Proclamation, it includes the final page of the document which has Thomas Jefferson’s signature.
