“Buzzed: A Bee Tribute”

“Buzzed: A Bee Tribute” exhibition is at Cali Commons from Jan. 16-18 and Jan. 23-25. The Opening Reception is Jan. 16 from 5 to 8 p.m. The hours are Fridays from 5 to 8 p.m.,
Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays from noon to 5 p.m.
“Buzzed” is a tribute to our tiny winged heroes: The bees who keep the world blooming. This art show swarms with creativity, featuring works from local artists inspired by the beauty, brilliance, and ecological magic of bees.
Special events:
- Jan. 17: Pinecone Bumble Bees. Drop-in craft activity from 1 to 4 p.m., while supplies last. FREE
- Jan. 18: Bee Keeping with Mark Welsch of Elmwood Park Honey, an open discussion from 2 to 3 p.m. FREE
- Jan. 24: Art Talk with creatives Amanda Stasny and Terri McFarland from 2 to 3 p.m. FREE
Free admission. Street parking available on 40th Street (north/south of California) and on California east of 40th.
