The historic Blackstone District holds special events on the second Saturday of the month. Start and end time varies per month. Events are free unless otherwise noted. Upcoming themes include:

June 10, 2023: Cornhole Tournament
The Blackstone district has partnered with the Omaha Sports Commission to host Omaha’s largest cornhole tournament! Registration is only $45 per team and includes one (1) free drink per player. Registration will increase to $50 on June 5, 2023. Event will run from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Farnam Street between Mula and Nite Owl.
July 8, 2023: Taste of Blackstone
Hosted at the Cottonwood Hotel, Local restaurants and bars will provide small portions of a few dishes/drinks. Attendees will have the opportunity to try a variety of small bites and experience the array of options the district has to offer. Cost TBD.
Aug. 12, 2023: Back to School Bash
Back to school bash is a large block party, hosted by Blackstone Social! Stop down for live music and entertainment, local vendors and an outdoor bar.
Sept. 8 & 9, 2023: Tacoberfest
Join Scriptown Brewing’s annual event featuring mariachi bands, polka music, tacos from Mula, pretzels and plenty of Scriptown beer.
Oct. 14, 2023: Farnam Fest
Farnam Fest is the districts largest event! Live music, food trucks and more!
Nov. 11, 2023: Chili Cook Off
Which Blackstone business makes the best chili? The annual competition continues in 2023, hosted at Scriptown Brewing.
Dec. 9, 2023: Live Music Bar Crawl
