Big Clay

The temporary exhibit, “Big Clay,” is at KANEKO from Jan. 31 to April 7, 2025. It features impressive works drawn from Ree and Jun Kaneko’s distinguished private art collection. Showcasing groundbreaking large-scale ceramic works, “Big Clay” challenges the perception of what’s possible through the medium of ceramic art. Included are works by artists who dared to push creative and technical boundaries, including Viola Frey, Tony Hepburn, Rudy Autio, Ken Little, and Patrick Siler. This impressive gathering of pieces offers visitors a rare opportunity to experience massive ceramic works sharing space and represents decades of collecting by the Kanekos.
