Beetles in the Wetlands: Community Science Day

June 27, 2025 @ 8:30 pm – 10:30 pm

Beetles in the Wetlands is a night hike on easy terrain searching for beetles that come out at night in the Wetlands. Participants will identify them and record the data on iNaturalist. Long pants and bug spray are HIGHLY encouraged. It’s recommended that participants bring their own flashlights or headlamps; there will be a limited number of flashlights and lanterns available.  

This program is geared toward adults and families with science-minded children due to the upper-level concepts and meticulous activities we will be engaging with. Parents and guardians are responsible for any children in their care.  

Must pre-register.

$15 – $25 $15 for members and $25 for non-members
