Aviation STEM Day

Aviation STEM Day is a hands-on aviation experience designed to ignite curiosity and open doors to aerospace careers. Experiences includes:
- Hear the roar of a live Lab RAMJET Engine from IWCC
- Fly a Cessna 172 Simulator
- Get up close with real aircraft on the tarmac
- Build & launch paper rockets with THOR
- View sunspots through a telescope
- Meet aviation educators from the following programs: UNO, IWCC, Morningside University, MCC, OPS Aviation School, and Burke High School.
