Apple & Cider Festival

The Apple & Cider Festival is Sept. 4-30 at Vala’s Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard. Enjoy sweet cider or hard cider (for ages 21+), live festival entertainment, acres of sunflowers, free photo ops, butterfly releases, flower picking, and limited-time food specials.
Special events:
- Free butterfly releases are on Sundays, Sept. 13, 20 and 27 at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., noon and 1 p.m. at the Sunflower Field (In Cider Mill Area).
- Friday Fireworks are Sept. 4, 11, 18 and 25 at 9 p.m. Best views from the Cider Mill Area, Freya’s Chicken Yard.
- Sunset Orchard Cider Tastings (21+) are Sept. 11, 12, 13, 18, 19, 20, 25, 26, and 27 and Oct. 2-4. Tastings are self-paced. Arrive anytime between 5:45 to 6:45 p.m. at the orchard’s U-Pick Apple Shed. This is an add-on activity.
