Hitchcock Nature Center’s Annual Winter Solstice Night Hike is open to all ages 5+ (due to terrain). The hike along Fox Run Ridge celebrates the longest night and the return of the Sun. At the cliff’s edge, there will be a small celebratory ceremony to welcome in the new year.
The event is free with a $5/vehicle entry fee or park membership; pre-registration is required. The event will be held “snow” or shine. In the event of dangerous/inclement weather, they will provide a programming update via the email you used to register.
